I know they like him, but could you see a world where the Pistons (who always need ball handling/shooting) would trade Isaiah Stewart for Simons? I dont know if I love that idea, but I dont dislike it 🤷
We desperately need a rim protecting big who will fit in. That is a key addition that we need. My feeling is that I am falling in love with this scrappy bunch and want to see how they all develop before making a move. Market value is going up for many of them. If Tatum may come back healthy and ready enough this year, then let’s go for a top big. Otherwise, I think we may be better off waiting till the summer or if a great opportunity drops in our laps.
