From whom do you take the minutes? I think that we lose a lot of development time for the younger players. I would rather hire him as a coach -- for which he certainly wouldn't come to the East Coast based on your article.
Would you put him in the starting lineup and take out whom?
As great as he is, this team is defined by its intensity. After Brad just cleaned out the older and hurt players, why would he go with a 40 year old?
I have come to believe that the roster overhaul wasn't just about cap space. This team needed to get younger and more intense to play the real Mazzulla ball.
For a few months as a mentor and ‘spark’ I could see. A small version if Blake. But overall, the Celtics appear to believe in youth and dynamism and it seems to work. Above and beyond my expectations to be honest. Btw….Adam…what is going on with J Walsh…he is for real ? To me the revelation of the season so far ? He has been so much for to watch the past few games…or should we reserve judgement till we’ve seen him play against Denver, OKC and the likes ?
I don't agree. I think he's too much of a head case now, He always seems to be butting heads with someone. There is a reason why he keeps going from team to team.
CP has been done for years. How about Hauser Simons Boucher for Jalen Green, Maluach, ighodaro or Richards, & Rasheer Fleming? Could give them a future pick. C's get bigger and more athletic in the post. Pritchard, White Brown Green, Walsh, Hugo, Minott, that's pretty dynamic and versatile at 1-3, Nobody is guarding brown and green https://youtu.be/TO-hhw0sClg
This is a tough one, Adam. You make a great case.
Here are my questions and thoughts for you:

Are you not concerned about potential chemistry issues? In particular when joining mid-season

Just the thought of having Neemy dunking on an alley-oop from CP3 is crazy good. Would love to see it
Honestly, it would be a ton of fun for a few months. 100% a long shot, but fun to think about
You’ve sold me. And I went in skeptical
It's definitely a pipe-dream, but it's fun to think about :) Appreciate you reading it, man!
