I'm loving the inline footnotes (not sure if they've always been there and I just noticed). The next evolution would be to be able to click in them and see that step in the video. Would be happy to help make that possible.

Thank you! I’m just toying with the built-in substack features. I’m not sure if the footnote allows for video linking (as it’s pre-built into substack) but if you know a way, I would love to learn

It looks like your posts use the video.js player which would allow for jumping with some javascript in the links (I think) https://videojs.org/docs/framework/react/reference/feature-time. Substack has a video player doc with the ability shown in a screenshot, but the player may be slightly different: https://support.substack.com/hc/en-us/articles/21093671091220-Guide-to-video-posts-on-Substack

Love that Hauser breakdown...such fluid offensive process there.

Thank you!

And I agree! I always enjoy when you see actions run for role players, especially when there’s gravity elsewhere on the floor

Two thoughts. First it’s especially notable playing against this team that JB and JT have both started doing a little more Jimmy stuff in terms of getting fouls when the game started to get away a little bit and Miami hit those three 3s in a row (each time I think after a missed Cs 3p shot). It was supremely frustrating to watch Jimmy Butler do that to us in the playoffs for those Miami years, and so it felt like payback. But also it is a great thing to have in your back pocket to stem a run. Second, it’s kind of funny that the Cs are a mutant version of the late 90s Bulls in a respect—JB as lead scoring wing, JT as the Swiss army Pippen, both guys defensive stoppers, White as a better Ron Harper, obvs there isn’t an exact match on the Rodman/Kukoc analogy but let’s say Queta/Hauser kind of makes that in aggregate, but for the 2020s. Pritchard is the Kerr, you know not exact but sort of how the roles play out

I REALLY like the Bulls comparisons here, Michael. I can defo see Tatum operating in that Pippen role now. And I get why you mean by similar but not same in terms of the role players.

Hopefully, the Cs have a similar level of success!

Great point on the foul drawing too. Seems like Browj has been “if you can’t beat em, join em” this season — and in turn, his FT% has benefited
