After last night, we now have 4 young centers that are all development projects. Cenac is the highest drafted and is at least a year away. They still need to address their objective to improve attacking the rim. As far as I can tell, nothing has happened and we "ain't seen nothing yet."

If Brown wants out, I would suggest that we try to get two players of value that address the team's needs.

Said that about Hugo and we saw what he brought. Queta is a backup, Williams years away. Ones to watch tonight are Maleek Thomas, likely gone by 40, Jaden Bradley and a Sleeper Izaiyah Nelson low post presence Paul Reed like. Still do need a rim attacker and vet post help. take the risk brad, go get Ja. No risk no reward. The other option is JB for multiple players/picks if Atlanta wants him better get Johnson and a few of Flemings, Ejiofor Kuminga, Rissacher to make the salary match

media nonsense, always on steroids with the Celtics. likely several interested, had to wait and see if they could get him cheap from Milwaukee. . Atl Houston Nola, phoenix, OKC, Utah, Spurs? Would Danny move Markannen Bailey and the #2 pick for Brown Hauser and Schierman? JB was his 3rd?

As the dust settles, Boston still has one of the best duos in the NBA as well as a stable of young players with potential to develop even further. Just buckle down, let Brad do his thing, and find a way to play with the same fire that made last year's regular season so much fun. And this time with Tatum for a full season.

Raising JB's value, bidding war for him? https://youtu.be/Vr9yJxFudEU

A good decision. If moved JB would have been moved to Atl or OKC so now deal with them directly and make them pay. My first move would be White and Hauser for Ja Morant and Aldama, High risk high reward, but the J's will help. If not make sure the contract has insurance. Thats a big 3 nobody can compare with. If moving JB, Phoenix, Nola, Houston Atlanta must pony up major players and picks. Would have to include

Phoenix Jalen Green, Brooks, Ighodaro picks

NOLA Murphy Murray, Bey Missi pick

Houston Sengun Thompson, Eason picks

Utah Markannen, George, Bailey , picks

Atl Johnson Okongwu, Rissacher # 8 pick

Hugo too much potential to give up

Some interesting rumors about spurs and Harper not happy??

Seeing what Miami gave up, I am glad Boston did not try to beat their offer. That's not coping or rationalizing. It's the absolute truth. I was willing to look the other way when it came to Giannis' age and injury history in a trade for Brown, but not while also gutting the youth and draft assets of the team.

Where does that leave things with Brown? I dunno. But clearly Stevens drew a line in the sand and refused to go any further. Miami went for broke and committed to figuring out the rest later. I assume Boston has a Plan B.
