***Podcast*** Cutting Through The Giannis Noise
Over the past week, we’ve all heard countless rumors citing the Boston Celtics with differing levels of interest in Giannis Antetokounmpo. Most days, those rumors have come in the shape of conflicting reports, with a healthy dose of opinion being aggregated as fact.
Cutting through the noise is often a difficult task, especially when it’s hard to tell where these rumors are coming from, and what angle the information is supposed to be supporting.
In today’s episode of The Celtics Chronicle podcast, Tim Shiels and I discussed the frustrations that come with such a public thought process, and the reality of why trading for Giannis could, or could not, make sense, along with reasons for and against trading Jaylen Brown.

Brad cant make this deal. Bucks will flip JB to the hawks for minimal, Kuminga and a few others and picks, could be 2 firsts in this draft. if Atl wants him they have to give up Johnson Rissacher Okongwu and 8 or 23 player another first. JB on hawks without taking their assets will be something Brad will regret. If not, sign Mark Williams , and add an asset with the exception , move White Hauser for Murphy or Ja and Aldama, and get on the line with Danny and Phoenix. If they want JB they have to give up the following to match salary and value
Green Brooks Ighodaro, picks
Markannen, Bailey, George, picks
Have to play hardball
Gobert, Bridges and Bane returned players and 4-5 first round picks. Brown better than all of them
Adam do you think this is going to happen, or is Milwaukee asking for too much. I dont like the option with Atlanta not giving up any of their key players and getting JB. Brad can't let that happen. if Atlanta wants to bring him home and make them his team, they have to give us Johnson Okongwu and # 8 pick swap for 27, maybe a pick at minimum, may need to add Rissacher to make the $$ work. JB Johnson Daniels # 8 pick PG or Mara and FA acquisition , and Hawks could be nasty
