I almost sent someone a text in the first quarter that said "Hugo playing 30 minutes per game wasn't on my bingo card." Honestly I don't know how he only ended up with 18. Garza doesn't appear interested in rebounding. This isn't a team where he can just box his guy out and wait for Tatum or Porzingis to clean up. Nice to see Jaylen get it going. Efficiently, too.
I was so strange to see Hugo getting his wings clipped when he was making such a big impact. I get Joe is experiementing with his rotations and all that, but the extended minutes could have been great for Hugo's confidence, etc.
Garza is a weird one. He has the size and length to be a solid rebounder, but like you say, he just seems content with boxing out. Needs to find some hunger in him, especially as this is his audition to stick in the league as an actual rotation big
It felt that when Gonzalez left the game, the momentum shifted away from the Celtics. I think that he rally set the tone. I feel like Minot is the other guy on the team who can do that.
I agree, Barry! Hugo and Minott have both been solid "energy guys." I do wonder how Mazzulla can get them both into the rotation, though -- they seem to have similar playstyles, and Hugo (due to age and draft status) should probably be the priority

Gonzalez and Duncan Robinson leaving both boosted the pistons.
This is funny, but also true
