Winning Gritty

**Podcast**

The Boston Celtics secured a tough win over a young, hungry, and well-coached Brooklyn Nets team on Tuesday. Joe Mazzulla’s team was on the second night of its first back-to-back of the season.

Interestingly, Paul George and Mitchell Robinson were both in the rotation — which is notable given their injury histories heading into the new season.

However, it was Jayson Tatum who stole the night, getting to the free-throw line at will, pressuring the rim, and hitting a clutch shot to ice out the game at the buzzer.

Yet, throughout that game, one of the key takeaways was that when the three-point shot wasn’t falling, the Celtics adjusted and got downhill; in fact, 38% of their offense came within four feet of the bucket — most Celtics fans have been calling for that sort of adjustment throughout the Joe Mazzulla era.

For today’s Celtics Chronicle podcast, Adam was joined by Mike Weber to discuss the game, the overall approach, and some observations that will lead us into Friday (vs. the Bulls) and Saturday (vs. the Houston Rockets).
